As mentioned during Vision Day, we want all members at YTBC to be involved in service for the Lord Jesus!
We are encouraging all members to find a place of service and get plugged in!
In the coming months at YT, there will be opportunities to do outreach and local missions. Please begin praying about how you can serve the Lord in one of these groups.
What is a SERVE Group?
A SERVE group is a team of volunteers who are committed to reaching out through servant evangelism and local missions efforts. Our desire is for YT to become more outwardly focused with the goal of seeing many souls added to the Kingdom!
Here are a few groups we need...
Homebound Ministry Group
We need
several people who will commit to delivering audio/video messages, and a
Sunday bulletin to our homebound. Also, we will soon be
incorporating our Intercessory Prayer Ministry into the homebound
ministry as well. We need about (10) volunteers to make this
successful.
School Outreach Group
We want to be a
major source of support for our local schools. We will do this
through supply collection, on campus projects, sports/band outreach and
other opportunities as they emerge. This is a great group for
parents to participate in with their child. We need about (15)
volunteers to make this successful due to the number of schools
associated.
Community Outreach Group
We must be
intentional about reaching our community with the Gospel of Jesus
Christ! This will be accomplished by developing a group who
will help find ways to get us involved in city events such as
Founder's Day, city revitalization projects, and simple acts of
kindness.
